What is there to say? Heroes of Might and Magic III: Complete is the best of the series, and one of the great 20th century video games. Over a quarter century after its release, I'm still playing it. Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East is a close second, but unfortunately, performance and balance issues make it not quite as good as Heroes III (although the combat in Heroes V: ToE is certainly better!). It takes too long to get through Heroes V: ToE games due to how long it takes the computer to process turns, even on modern machines. So Heroes III is still my favorite HoMM.
