I really did. I mean seriously....who wants to play a game where you build a hospital. I want fire, guns, dragons, space combat and all those other awesome things people want when they play video games. But on a whim I bought this game when it was on sale for a meager 2.99 just so I could see what all the hype was about. Now I know...this game is strangely...eerily....deceptively...addictive. There are plenty of reviews that describe the gameplay and other aspects of this stellar game. I believe I can summarize it in just one sentence. Theme Hospital is just plain fun to play...and the bottom line is....buy it...play it...love it.
Steep learning curve, little bugs and glitches, lots of reading required, walking from one area to another can take a painfully long time unless your constantly hasting your party. No, this isnt a perfect game. It is, however, the closest mortal man will ever come to creating one. By the time youve played through it, youll be ruined to modern day RPG's. Your characters are a tapestry of customizable abilities and spells. Youll spend months tweaking abilities, trying this here, a little of that their...give him one of those... Theres simply no easy way to convey the granduer of this game, which holds up just as solidly today as when it was first released. It's still better in its current form than the latest final fantasy. I imagine most people who ever read this post will have played the game already...If not, I envy you. Your about to set off on an adventure unlike anything youve ever played before. Discerning Adventurers choose BG2, It's simply the best.
