I can also confirm the crashes; sometimes it happened pre-battle, but also post-battle for me, which was even more frustrating. I know this is an old game and it certainly is not trivial to get it running on modern machines, but if it's not maybe it would have been wiser to postpone its release? Apart from that the game seems damn fun, too bad I can't advance more in it :/. Will update rating and review when/if it gets fixed.
