I loved this game as a kid, but as of this moment, the game is still 32-bit, so will not run on Macs with an OS released after 2020. They really should update the requirements to warn you of this in the store. So you'll need to either wait for a 64-bit update (you'll be waiting awhile), use Boot Camp, or search for a C64 version online somewhere you can play in an emulator.
