I am going to fire this bad boy up now for the first time since the last time I did such. That was when it released. It doesn't really fall into the "classic" category yet, with titles such as Stonekeep and the beginning D&D titles, but this is a masterpiece in it's own rights. The game play I remember was smooth, the action held up, the characters were great overall and the satisfaction of the ending is a memory worth keeping. Off I go!.
Man, this was a scary ass game! The first real horror/survival/puzzle game I ever played, it was well ahead of it's time. When that thing walked by the window outside, WHEW! I cannot remember what computer I played this on but I know my CD drive got a lot of exercise lol This is a classic game that you have to play if you like any modern day horror game such as RE, SH, etc.
This, Redneck Rampage and Phantasmagoria(that thing in the window...shivers) are the games that brought pc gaming to light for me and my best friend. We spent some of the greatest gaming hours of our lives in these games as teens. I will forever be grateful to have known and played these games when they still carried their respective torches, and even until they passed them on to titles such as Unreal Tournament and Baldurs gate. Best part? Now at 34yrs old, I just learned that this game's real name is ONE WHOLE UNIT BLOOD. We just knew it was Blood man.
