This game is pure joy. Not only is it gorgeous to look at. The music is amazing. The level design is outstanding, inspired and creative. The controls are pitch perfect and it has a lot of content for fans of the genre to tackle. This is a must play not only for fans of platformers, but also fans of games in general. It even rivals many of Nintendo's finest platformers as well. It's that good.
