The gameplay is dated. Very dated. Despite finally being out in the open, the maps are so linear, you might as well be on rails. The graphics aren't what you'd expect in 2020, and after playing for a good few hours, I found multiple points in the story which were so broken that I was unable to continue without reloading and replaying a section. Dialogue options don't work, positional triggers don't work, sound bugs occasionally cause endlessly repeating sound effects until you restart the game. This feels like an enormous middle-finger to those who enjoyed the earlier episodes in the series. Minimum effort, maximum price, just ship it. Seriously, just avoid it. I've no idea how this has managed to be reviewed so strongly elsewhere.
