I had to turn off my science brain, but a lot of work has clearly been done to provide players with a very diverse set of gameplay loops. The lore is nicely weird, there's plenty to collect, and they continue to add to the game regularly. On the slight con side, bugs tend to get ignored in favor of new features, and there are some surprising ways to grief that have not been fixed yet. My advice: Don't go afk on the anomaly or in an area trafficked by others unless you turn off multiplayer options first.
