The Windows 95 release of Resident Evil was the very first version of this game that I played. I got it for Christmas when I was a young teenager and would play it all the time on our family computer. (I still remember that Virgin Interactive eye opening video, wish this version still had that) This is a perfect release of the PC port. No weird added changes. Just a playable version of the OG PC game. Plays perfectly using my keyboard. You can still skip the door opening loading screen. I don't care about upscaling, filters, modern controls, etc. I just wanted an OG playable PC version and this is what it is. If you want updated controls and graphics, then play the remakes. This is how original Resident Evil on PC is supposed to be played.
