I was neither a player of the first Wasteland nor Fallout series, and one this I noticed is that the game is pretty noob-unfriendly. There were no tutorial nor in-game instructions (aside from several icons on the right of the screen that don't really help. Logs looks clumsy and rarely provide any useful information. Ammunition and medical supplies are scarce as hell (witch actually make sense for an post-nuclear-wars setting), and enemies are either very nimble or tough to kill. Random encounter on the world map sometimes spawns enemies way stronger than the rangers, forcing players to load a save. The storyline I've seen so far is frustrating, watching the player's super noobie team running around as if they are all the manpower Desert Ranger has on hand. I gave up on this game after several hour of gameplay and felt regret buying it. Maybe it doesn't suit my taste, or it just doesn't really worth the prise.
