As I grew up on the original, I was excited to see a sequel finally come to fruition. I've played through the game twice. Once in it's release form and once in the Director's Cut. As there are no real changes to the story, I'd recommend just playing the Director's Cut which has more engaging character development trees. Any fan of the original will appreciate the developer's efforts to include key elements from that source material. It's a nice, modern interface (though not the best), occassionally buggy, but with heaps of nostalgia. I've owned it for a while, but GOG has suddenly offered it for nothing! OK, I'll take another copy!
