I bought this game hoping for a faithful refresh of Diablo that won't require me to run it through a Windows XP VM. That seems to be what I've gotten. I've been playing the improved resolution version and have had no issues. It plays pretty much exactly as I remember. Now that I'm a bit older and a bit wiser, I'm playing the game more competently and having quite a bit more fun as a result. If you want to play the original Diablo, it's worth getting this.
