Assassin's Creed was a great game that was ruined by it's lame, unbelievable attempt at a science fiction sub-plot. It would've made a significant improvement if Desmond MIles, and Abstergo were just left out entirely, leaving the game to focus solely on Altair. Unfortunately , this horrid story arc plagues all future titles in the series as well.
Saints Row always felt too much like a cheap rip off of Grand Theft Auto to enjoy, but Saints Row the Third is where the series begins to set itself apart from other franchises, through less serious, high action gameplay, and far more comedic themes, which in this games case, translates to pure Co-Op fun. Hopefully we'll be seeing Saints Row IV on GOG very soon
Don't get me wrong, I loved the physics, and the unique 3D-ish extension to it's 2D platforming style, but I strongly feel it doesn't live up to the potential the game's premise deserves. It's incredibly casual, and largely based on exploration, with little challenge.
The unique side-scrolling platformer Trine is back, with even more adventures with Pontius, Amadeus, and Zoya, expressing enthralling gameplay, a once again unforgettable soundtrack, and a beautiful, fairy-tale like art style, which somehow manages to improve upon the original masterpiece
The wonderfully original Trine has now been upgraded to incorporate the graphics capabilities of the beautiful Trine 2's game engine, perfecting the already lovable gaming experience that is Trine. Great gameplay, unforgettable soundtrack, and awe inspiring art style.
