Wow I must have bought this game about 4 or 5 times, its so good! The first one I bought was for PS2 but I didnt like it so much because it was very slow with the load times, the 2nd time I bought it was on PS2 again because someone stole my other copy off me! And yet I still havent finished the game! The 3rd time I bought it was for PC and thankfully it was a lot easier to play, but I still hadnt finished the game! So this is my 4th time buying the game, so lets see if I can finish it this time! The story of the game is great, although the other 2 previous broken swords had better writing. The 3D graphics were a welcome change, and the voice acting was top notch! All in all, a great game for adventure fans and newcomers alike.
I had heard of Simon the Sorcerer before I bought it off Gog.com, but here in australia we dont get many budget releases like the rest of the world, so I was delighted when it came on gog. I bought it and thoroughly enjoyed it! It has many elements of the old Lucasarts games like Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle, with a bit of Sam and Max adult humour mixed in as well. The graphics are great, on par with Monkey Island 2 specifically. All in all, a great diversion for a week or so!
