...but sorely needs updates and changes at least of the time of this writing, it looks like it may have potential, but there's a number of flaws that make it pretty hard I guess as a modern player that has never played/touched a wizardry game at all ^^; a semi-brief overview; the loading times are pretty awful for what the game has, some 'fancier' games load much more quickly. also there's a fair lack of options to 'skip' past stuff like splash screens, the game quitting function seems to force you into death instead of just saying "ok you are quitting the game? that's fine." kind of immersion breaking forcing you to die every time you want to reload a save or such? the difficulty curve and difficulty in the game itself is pretty high, there's not really an easy mode and there's no tutorial in game or much of an intro to what you are doing at all. also having cheats or an easy mode would help a lot I think if someone just wanted to play to have fun and goof around with the game. an example would be attempting to swim, had a few attempts of going into water spaces without knowing of the stamina drain and dying another is with the fights in the 'beginner' area, have had these awful looking mosquito things and sometimes even plants attack and they would spam me to literal death with effects that you can't seem to resist, have tried doing an 'autofight' mode and even -if- the enemies all pass out from running out of stamina trying to hit you, the stuns and other various effects will not wear off before they wake up again. this also seems to carry over into reloading saves, some 'spots' will just seem to have a ridiculously high encounter rate for randoms, and the whole process will repeat over and over again. kind of giving the impression that the 'randomization' math is off? while it seems like it could be fun after some more patching and updating, I think right now it's more of a game for those looking for a hardcore wizardry experience ^^;
