Unfortunately I did not find a way to play the game in the original resolution or in window mode. It always started in fullscreen mode at a scaled solution. I suggest buying the Ubisoft version (History collection) of this game since it is perfectly adjusted for higher resoltions and I can play in 1920x1080 natively.
