Your job is to guide the young princess Elodie through most of a year, by making crucial decisions and increasing the right stats. What are the right stats? Well, that all depends on which of the twisted paths you are lead onto. Just know that each and every game you'll probably make a bad choice that may well lead to an untimely end. Each week of the game you choose which classes to attend, which will increase skills depending on your mood. In the weekends you have a chance to directly influence mood through various actions in and about the castle. Of course every week also brings an event with skill checks and heavy choices. You may face treacherous nobles, foreign armies, evil magicians, monsters in the woods or even disgruntled peasant uprisings! Gameplay seems simplistic, but know that this is a game that rewards planning for what you'll face in advance, which requires multiple playthroughs and book keeping. Of course, your plans may well topple due to a new and unforeseen event that you didn't encounter the last time around. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys challenging stat balancing and good writing.
