This game took be back almost 30 years to playing the older mech warrior games and getting into scraps that were way over my head. The combat is just as lumbering as I recall from these gigantic mechs. The story is a little trope heavy, but the gameplay is amazing and I love feeling of running over/through trees in the giant robots. It did take me a bit to figure out how to get my lancemates to do what I wanted, but I think that might be a flaw in my brain trying to use old commands from the late 90s games. This game sets you free early on and all but stops holding your hand after about 30 minutes to an hour.
