Machiavelli the Prince

Machiavellian Dreaming

A great economic strategy game. Will you bribe your way to the top or just dominate with the force of your economic might? I've lost countless hours playing the DOS game, and now I've returned.

Blood & Gold: Caribbean!

Over promised, under delivered

The game mechanics and theme work well. However, the large stuttering on a powerful desktop combined with janky graphics, e.g. trees floating in the air, just ruin what other wise would be an okay game.

4th & Inches

Fun Stratigic Sports Game

The game is super fun with interesting choices on what plays you want to make. It doesn't burden you with in-depth details of the sport, but offers a fun arcade like experiance. Something I will certainly be coming to play again.

Acting Lessons

Compeling Story, but...

The story and characters are compelling. You enjoy the time you spend with them and grow attached to them. The writing is just that good, but it's ultimately undone for me by its ending. The creator makes a creative decision, that while I respect it, is not satisfying.

BATTLETECH - Mercenary Collection

Desktop Perfection

Captures the feel of playing the desktop game, without having to do all the maths yourself. The storyline is a classic one and compelling to see it through. The PvP and skrimish provides endless replay value.

Zeus + Poseidon (Acropolis)

Endless Replay

I have spent literally over 1000hrs playing this game since I bought it on CD when it first released. It is a classic for a reason. Wonderful path walking, endless joys from the humour of hearing the characters, the entire game is a delight.

Deadlock: Planetary Conquest

Great Obscure TBS Game

I played this relentlessly in high school and even into college. It has a depth and humour that sadly many modern games only wish they had. If you only ever buy one turn-based strategy game, this is the one to buy.
