This is probably one of the more enjoyable dungeon crawlers that I have played over the years. The sound and graphics are good enough and there is a really nice amount of character customization. The only things I can say bad about this game is that there isn't enough of a difference between all of the different classes in the game and there is no co-op. Some would argue that it gets repetitive, but that comes with the genre and is to be expected.
Darkstar One is a fun but sometimes very basic and very repetitive space flight game. I could never really figure out how to turn a decent profit as a trader and I found that the best way to make my way in the game was as a bounty hunter or a mercenary. There really isn't a great deal of variety among the weapons you can put on your ship and you really only get one ship. That being said, you have to seek out these artifacts to earn skill points for your ship and you spend the skill points on abilities for your ship that suit your playing style. Unfortunately the story really isn't all that interesting and it really only give you enough context to give you a reason to go from point a to point b. I think I explored half the star map and I grew tired of all the repetition. Still, it was fun while it lasted. This game isn't the same caliber as X-wing Alliance but it's fun.
I grew up under a rock during my child-hood. The only pc games I ever owned and got sucked into, were X-wing Alliance, Rouge Squadron 3d, and Starcraft. I have been playing catchup for a while and this is probably one of my favorite RPG's. The main thing about Fallout is there really is nothing else quite like it. You start out with nothing and the game and you have to figure out how to make your way in the wasteland. This game has what I consider to be the right amount of story and sandbox. There is enough story to make you care and all of the questlines mean something. How you choose to play the game will have consequences that actually mean something and shape how the game's end game plays out. There are many ways for the story to branch out and as a result you may end up with a completely different ending. The only complaint that I have is certain skills and items aren't very useful.
