Normally I go for more 3D action AAA titles, but this little indie gem sucked me into its complex, well thought-out, dystopian world. There are a few side-quests that provide some variation, and interesting characters along the way. Resource management isn't difficult and although, yes, you have to follow a specified path to reach the end, there is a certain appeal to flying your hover-ship through the rain-drenched city, scrounging artefacts and picking up clues. I didn't find the voice acting as bad as some people say -- if anything it was nicely understated. I've picked up the sequel and I'm having fun going through that. It makes a break when I get stressed out by Tiny Tina.
