Played table-top BattleTech as a kid and loved Mechwarrior games. An honest homage to the things that are great about the game. Only reason it's not 5 stars is that sometimse the UI seems to glitch out and stop responding to me.
Pretty fun even if you are playing dezgra freebirths. Not much to say. Stomp, stomp! Boom, boom! Pew, pew!
Like many games from this era, you find yourself battling the camera more than the puzzles or the enemies. Still a good blend of narrative and mechanics. Lots of story is told implicitly in th egameplay.
