No Man's Sky

A good game with some major issues.

This game is good. It's not great. It has technical issues for some users. It runs great for me though. So why is this game good? The combat is bad. The space combat is bad too. What makes it work is the exploration and the challenge to go on. Yeah, it gets repetitive. But there is just enough freshness in this game to keep on playing and feel entertained. The graphic - though sometimes dull - is gorgeous. I would compare it like a meditation. What this game really needs imho: Boss fights and an automap. At least a way to set a waypoint. Most frustrating things for me: I have to recharge my thrusters all the time Once I fly away from a spot, it's impossible to find it again (lack of waypoint, automap) Combat way too easy (how about one boss on each planet that you have to find and kill with a nice re ward?) If you want an unpolished game with some new ideas, go for it. If you want a more traditional game or multiplayer, stay away. Also, check if you have problems with the hardware.
