this game starts out with some flow and ultimately beats you over the head with confusing long cutscenes, other time based elements, some skippable, some not, ultimately unenjoyable and interrupt the flow of the game in a "this is clearly completely untested" sort of way. in that sense, this game is a rather clunky-feeling and angular combination of presets. this is certainly reflected by playing this game for an hour from the start on the hard difficulty- jank exposed, comically bad. outside of these more obvious flaws, you are presented with trivial gameplay and more asset flip boredom. the camera while driving is rubberbandy in a way that reflects no understanding of vehicle driving in games- sickness inducing and also another reason to call this game completely untested. in a sense, a way of thinking is present in this game that is detached from the previous entries in the series which affects the storytelling aspects to the detriment of expanding a universe set in this timescale. with such a large install, but no interest in playing it, i'd be more interested in knowing how this was made than playing it to figure out why it was such a flop. a disappointing but vaguely interesting game with an absurdly large install, which i regret
