so some of the reviews mentioned that the game has some sort of drm that prevents you from getting the newest updates. that is only half true: it does have a system where you can create an account and log into it with a username and password but it's completely optional and it doesn't prevent you from running the game or getting the newest updates. the game also receives updates from gog not just the in game updater, in essence you won't be out of date if you don't use the in game account creation. the online account is also used to search for games in the online lobby but you also have the option of playing lan on hamachi or through direct ip and the online account won't restrict you in that sense either. overall a great game, very addictive and completely 100% drm free.
cartoony graphics, nice sounds and most of all, the perfect combination of economy and military that you probably already know and that makes this game the best settlers game yet
