Grabbed up Sanitarium ages ago on sale. Its old, weird, wacky and crazy and all in a good way. The story is quite standard yet draws you in in a weird way. Gameplay is classis old standard point and click mystery style game like King's Quest and such. Look wise the game dident age great since 1998, but that to me added to its charm because it uses such haunting models and such. Dont expect to be blown away by anything daring other then the theme and its execution. Pick this game up if you want a nice experience with a point and click horror game that has some very nice (and also frustration puzzles) that does not shy from adult storytelling and pure lunacy. Enter the Sanitarium, but beware, you might leave more insane then you entered :D

This game was alot of fun, it had a world and characters that enchanted and capture on your imagination. Shamefully it was way and way to short for its pricing. Still i fell hopelessly in love with it and it left a void in my heart when it finished. I need more of this setting and characters in a bigger game, maybe even with a little more sandbox in it. The unique battle mechanics was fun and innovative. I would reccomend this game if it was on sale. Be warned that sometimes the registration on pressing keys is a bit wonky and frustrating.

I wish oh i so wish i could call this game a succeeded masterpiece but I cant. Tried to play through it on 3 seperate saves only to have the game bug up all three times at the same part around 90% through the game. The game is good, Gameplay is solid though a bit clunky sometimes, the world is nice and your companions come alive. Once again a Bioware masterpiece that deliveres IF you can finish it withut the bugs breaking your game

First Impression: This game opens up weirdly and just pumps your right into the action after less than 15 mins. Read the manual carefully to find out what the controls are. Even better run a controller program and buttonmap a controller the game responds well to homemade mapping. Story/setting: The story is quirky and does not make a whole lot of sense, but its fun and easy to follow and hides one big twist that only reveals itself until the last boss fight. The horror elements of the game are more in the story than in the setting or scares. Combat: combat is fast and though. Finding out what makes enemies go down per enemy is kinda fun. Arsenal is small but almost every weapon makes sense and has pro and cons. Be warned though even on easy i died many a time from splash explosive damage and getting trapped in corners. Lookiewise: The game aged well in my opinion and there are no major visiual bugs. Overal a fun and quick paced that offers though combat. Only bigger minus is that its sometimes kinda vague as to where you have to go for your next objective.
