As a person who always carries a USB with GZDoom loaded with Doom, Heretic and Hexen ready to play whenever I have free time at work. As for today this collection needs to be patch. Even turning off these "enhancements" some weapons behave really bad. For example gauntlets of necromancer push the enemies along with you forward, ethereal crossbow always spread the projectiles and even the enemies feel more spongy. The same with Hexen there are some weird weapon behaviors that feels off. Don't misunderstand me, I love seem this games re-released, but I´m also a costumer and I'm expecting seen these games given the same treatment as they did with Quake II (to me, their best remaster so far)
Having a new port of doom and giving a new sort of ¨revival¨ with a new episode is allways welcome but... after many years of playing GZdoom I miss the free look feature at least included it as an option
Doom 64 its a hidden classic and the real Doom 3 and its awesome to finally have an official port for those who didnt own the console back then. So if you are a classic FPS fan go for it!
