Syberia

Gorgeous nostalgia

Magnificent story and environments. Puzzles are quite straightforward and not particularly rewarding, but the story really makes up for that. If you don't mind lots of walking and long dialogues, there's a touching story to unravel. Syberia is more like an interactive story than a game.

Papers, Please

Grim time management

Got my wrist and finger hurt as I took my job as the immigration inspector so obsessively. A dark setting that gives you some perspective on the issue of illegal border crossing. Enjoyable nevertheless.

Space Colony HD

Memorable casual game

A nice building game in space setting, mixed with some sims type of activity. Varied, gives you new stuff as the game unfolds and gradually gets more challenging, keeping you busy managing your station.

Eschalon: Book III

A fine finale

I enjoyed this game as I've enjoyed Books I and II. Honestly, I don't understand all the criticism presented here. I was totally addicted to Book III, puzzles were challenging enough, and I had a good time!

Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers

Work of art

A very well written classic adventure game with mature themes, a gem from the 90's. For all true point-and-click fans, this is a milestone that you can measure modern games to. Complex and elaborate. Beautiful graphics.
