Not only does the protagonist offer an introspective into the quandaries and triumphs of the modern era, the wondrous world this game- NAY, experience, plunges you into the bane of your personal psyche. This is a really amazing game. Build your city from the ground up, playing at turtle, llama, cheetah, or even African swallow speeds, instead of only turtle and llama (or not at all). Wow! With the powerful feature of offline gaming, SimCity 2000 is one of the best city building sims available for the PC, not to mention it's a tenth of the price of some other games! You can't go wrong!
