King's Quest VII is the first adventure game I ever played, and it's still my favourite after replaying it like 5 times or so over the years. One of the things I like about point and click adventure games is the protagonists usually behave like real people would, and that's definitely true of Valanice and Rosella. There's a great variety of areas and characters to interact with, and they're all really charming and fun in their own way. You won't have to restart the entire game because you didn't click on a single pixel 5 hours ago, because that kind of nonsense doesn't exist in this game (except if you use the broken Chapter Select feature, I guess. Don't do that). The puzzles are still decently challenging, though. It also feels just right in terms of length, even now that I have most of it memorised. It'll probably take you two days or so? I'd dock half a star if I could, because some of the animation IS pretty rough. It doesn't bother me too much, though.
