Corridor 7: Alien Invasion

Probably the worst game I've ever played

Yes, I got this game because a popular YouTuber did a video on it, saying it was terrible. Yes, I regret my decision in foregoing their warning and buying this game. Yes, I will urge you to never make the same mistake as me. As for actually reviewing this: I can confidently say that this game is genuinely one of the worst games I've ever sat down to play. I marathon'd this in one go. All 30 levels (I refuse to do the extra 12 from the CD version). The only enjoyable part was picking and tearing it apart during the first hour or so of gameplay. Making fun of all of this game's shortcomings becomes tiring after a while because you'll realize you're suffering with it. The first half isn't even that bad when you look at the final half of levels. They're dark, full of monsters, and no ammo caches. The ONLY way to get ammo is to either find it from an enemy drop or reach the next floor. And you're stuck with the Alien weapons, which eat through your ammo quickly. You'll be left for half the floor with your taser pisol, praying to RNGesus that you get an Ammo drop. If, for whatever reason, you decide to ignore the warnings and buy this game: PLAY ON CAPTAIN DIFFICULTY. You won't have to kill most/all the enemies in a stage. Anything beyond the easiest skill is a death wish to your sanity. If anything, this game can be seen as a time capsule of awfullness. Proof that not all retro shooters were good, despite everything that came out around it in 1994.
