It's not a perfect shooter, it's not a perfect racing game, it's not a perfect RPG, it's not a perfectly immersive experience. It excels at times in placing you right there, in the shoes of V, sitting in the car with someone, having a conversation. It draws you into awesome Night City with its weird, human, characters. It develops flow. It is clearly a game made by a team that loves creating worlds and characters, and its attention to detail is stunning at times. Yes, it is still a video game, and if you want to see the breaking points, you will. If you let it do its thing, you're in for a remarkable experience. This shortly after release, there are glitches, and there seem to be quite a few bugs (I have not had any bugs, and only a handful of minor glitches in my playtime so far). CD Projekt Red have shown in the past that they fix their games and that they support their games beyond what, frankly, any other developer today does. So right now, if you're unlucky, it might be somewhat of a raw diamond - if you're picky about visual glitches breaking your enjoyment of a game, you might want to wait for the next few patches. In my opinion, it is very much worth playing even now, because for all the little things that it may not do great, there are so many things it does perfectly. This is a game that has soul.
