I'm new to the Bloodrayne franchise. I've always loved vampire movies, comics, games like Castlevania. Unlike some, I never played the earlier console games. So this was a totally fresh experience for me. I must say I was surprised at how much fun I had playing the first two games (Bloodrayne: Terminal Cut and Bloodrayne 2: Terminal Cut), and I enjoyed the other platformer game, but it wasn't as intense a gaming experience as the first 2 games. I hadn't really played any platform games since the 90s so this brought back some good memories. Speaking about Bloodrayne and Bloodrayne 2 I found the gameplay enjoyable, the combat was satisfying (there's quite a variety) and the lighting, textures, and special effects all seemed like it was from a modern game! So the developers did a nice job in presenting these updated classics. There is gore, but it didn't bother me since I've played zombie and horror games with much worse. I felt like I was in a vampire exploitation film! It was a cool experience jumping, rail sliding, and other acrobatic moves. The level design was good. I really enjoyed the music, especially in Bloodrayne 2! I'm hoping we'll see more of the Bloodrayne franchise. I hope it's released here on GOG! This bundle came with the legacy games of Bloodrayne 1 & 2. So 5 games in all. Not bad for just under $20 USD! I love the GOG sales. All in all, I highly recommend this game if you want some old-school fun, with compelling gameplay, excellent combat, and the ability to enjoy it on modern systems with high-end graphic cards and HD monitors.

This game has a lot of nostalgia for me. I have it on Steam and would, but it on GOG if it were remastered or if there were any tweaks or special goodies. Even $7 on sale (which it is now) is not enough to warrant a second purchase if it's identical to the Steam release.

This game is really nostalgic for me. I had my first PC (that I bought with my own money) when this game came out in '99. I recall running Windows 98. I spent literally thousands of hours on this game and I never got tired of it. The fragging, the different game modes, the fun of battling other people online. I got this game after not playing it for nearly 20 years and I still had fun! My favorite is going on top of the opposing towers map with the sniper rifle and racking up head shots! Love this game and highly recommend it for some old school fun!
