Looks better than original, performance is clearly better. Image looks a bit smudgy because of FSR as MSAA is no longer available.
This does everything better. Performance much improved on new systems. Rendering distance especially for foliage much improved. No longer hitches every now and then. High FPS constantly. Cloud shadows on the ground.
Terrible unoptimized perfomance aside this is what I've been waiting for. The atmosphere is there, the survival horror element is there. I am content.
The Stalker series is a must play for any fan of Strugatski's Roadside Picnic and intense horror games.
Still has a shitton of bugs. Just crashed randomly in a fight
