I'm about halfway through my second playthrough and loving it. Asylum deeply scratches the itch for immersive 3D point-and-click adventure games (e.g. MYST). Every scene has so much detail and shows subject-matter expertise. I think this game redefines "environmental storytelling" - I've never played a game that used literally every item, event, and conversation to convey the mystery. For me the game really started AFTER I had completed my first playthrough.
