In terms of story, the best installment of the trilogy of games about the adventures of Geralt of Rivia. The combat system is clunky and takes a long time to master, but once you figure it out, it's not as terrible as it might seem at first. The key to combat in The Witcher 2 is proper planning and preparation for the tasks at hand, and duels require the use of everything we have at our disposal, namely bombs, sings, oils and numerous potions that need to be drunk before a fight, which more closely reflects the world from Sapkowski's novel, as well as the way the Witchers fight.
