Fortunately, I can't come on an cry saying 'it isn't the old gwent' because I never played that. I am a MTG player looking for something a little different (and HS is definitely not sufficiently different). Game mechanics are interesting and the artwork is impressive. What I miss is an easy to access way of comparing and researching cards outside of the deckbuilding facility in the game itself. There could do with beign a bit more into the the more advanced mechanics, factions etc. It is impressive that you do not have to splash out significant sums to get cards straight away. I will probably buy a few kegs and see how I get on with them. However, overall, as a game I would like this to work.
