BG3 is not a worthy successor of BG1 & 2. If you're looking for a tactical real-time game with a large group go to Pillars of Eternity. You'll also get better immersion, better writing, and just video game gameplay instead of copy pasta from d&d. Builds are unreadable, progress is weirdly capped and items are so unbalanced it's laughable. That said, BG3 does manage to bring something to the table, though nothing new to Larian players. Surface mechanics, consumables, unsolvable puzzles and nice exploration based on jumping and teleportation. There's ton of erotica if you're into it though. The game is unfinished with blank areas at the end, trivial difficulty and overall way too much hype for the content and the price tag.
