Cyberpunk 2077

Amazing work of art

I am so disappointed by all the whining in the comments, fuelled by the negative reception in the gaming press. CDPR have created the most beautiful, ambitious, immersive game of all time. I am glad they have released it now. I’d rather play it now, while in lockdown, than over 6 months. Is it demanding? Of course it is. You cannot expect a brand new game to run 60 fps on High on a 4-year old GTX 1080. How is your Red Dead Redemption 2 running that was released a year ago? Does it play better with a controller? Yes, and so do Mirror’s Edge, GTA, RDR and many other games. Does it have lots of bugs? Yes. And that’s to be expected of any game of this complexity. This isn’t Fortnite. Very few bugs are game breaking (I've experience none after 30 hours) and who cares if cigarettes float or enemies tend to get stuck between elevator doors. In return we get a gorgeous, living, breathing city in the style of Blade Runner and Ghost in The Shell, an awesome storyline, and loads of quests and cool characters with great voice acting and mocap. 9/10
