After a long search for the original game, I finally found it on GOG and ended up purchasing. However, was very disappointed to find that the original version only downloads as an exe file for Windows so I can't play it on my Mac. Very disappointed.
These games are amazing but I don't understand why GOG only offer the Windows version when all the games are already available on the Mac App Store. That being said, the original trilogy is one the best adventure game series that I have ever played. Well worth playing, and you can't go wrong at this price for 3 games!
