The game is fine. I like the design, the way the story mode is set up, the homage to Ghosts and Goblins, the different weapons and armors, and the way the resurrection system works. I even don't mind the slight clunkiness of the character's movements. It's just that all of it feels kind of unpolished. A lot of the levels are poorly designed with barely a hint to where you're supposed to go, a lot of things are not explainedand the hint system is all over the place, the colored boxes that indicate hints or which NPC's you can talk to are very amateurish, and it's hard to see what you can jump on, what will hurt you, what will block you, and what you can interact with. I also don't particularly like the constantly spawning enemies that just impede your movements all the time. Yes, I know that's how Ghosts and Goblins did it, I don't care for it in this day and age. So all in all, I think the game is fine. It's fine. This is fine. It's fine.
