Oxenfree

Surpisingly enjoyable

This looked like yet another uninteresting point&click clone but the story quickly became rather interesting. The whole game keeps the creepy/weird feeling really well, along with moderate amount of useless walking and puzzles. The caracters are also feel real, not just empty NPCs walking all over the scenes. The puzzles are rather easy, but it's not a huge problem if you like to enjoy an interesting story. The graphics is also nice. Oh, and there are multiple endings, in fact there is no "ending", but various outcomes in many aspects of your characters, based on your decisions. Some characters may even die and you still able to finish. Possibly multiple times, if you are curious... Overall, it's a good game.

Full Throttle Remastered

Really good, not very long

I know it's a classic, but this one's good, too. :-) The code runs flawlessly on Linux, everything works as intended: that's for the tech side. I really like the story and the voice acting, and the graphic indeed match these with pixelised fun low or higher resoluion as well. I possibly need it to play every year or so, just to enjoy the story, as looking at a good movie. The puzzles are "mostly harmless", do not expect brain overheat, though there are a few "oh dammit now" kind of puzzles as well. Overall very enjoyable.

Thimbleweed Park

True to its roots

It is really hard to create a point&click adventure which is enjoyable to the people have played all the multi-decade old classics, and seen lots of puzzles and humour around. Thimbleweed Park is just that: really enjoyable, witty, and follows all the great traditions of the old LucasArts games, like "you cannot die" and "you cannot terminally screw up your game", along with plenty of insider jokes and breaking the fourth wall dialogue, ingenious hint system and all that madness which makes such a game just great. I'm sad that I have missed the kickstarter and being the part of supporting this game.
