This game is barely playable as is. I get that it has tremendously important historical value and I’m glad it is still available, but it’s unbelievably laggy, the UI is maddeningly clunky (drag and drop for days) and the combat is this weird system you have no control upon. This legacy game deserves the sort of treatment given to the Bard Tales games for example. Without this sort of respectful overhaul, playing Ultima VII is quite a chore. For historians and the childhood nostalgia crowd only.
