This is the best that gog.com has to offer and all I really want from the gaming industry as a 40-something millenial gamer. Just keep the classics up-to-date enough to play on modern hardware with minimal little niceties added here and there. Heretic holds a special place in my heart and to see it back in action with wasd+mouselook controls brings a tear to my eye. The updated soundtrack option is just icing on the cake. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pure power fantasy. Had a bad day? In this game there are demons that need to be slain and you are equipped to do the slaying. Rip and Tear. I played Doom Eternal and 100%ed Doom the Dark Ages, but I just keep coming back to this one. On my third playthrough I think. Already owned it on Steam, but it's good enough to own a DRM-Free copy from gog. 👍
Love it. This is my kind of role-playing. Rich story with choices that (at least feel) like they matter. And a sweet-awesome sword-fighting system. what else could one want?
