This is the first time I've had problems that were this bad. I thought I'd take a chance on it even after reading some of the reviews mentioning bugs, but I lost. The game won't even load for me, and two of the fixes I tried just made it freeze, not crash. I put in a refund request and hoping they'll grant it.
