A few hours in. The good: It is indeed a vampire game. Roof top gliding, is kinda cool. Vamp sense, and following the trail is decently implement as game play instead of just follow the map icon. bad: elder vamp? did the definition change while i was in torpor? very limited blood pool, heck you could be a thin blood/ neonate the way your character is implemented and heck who would know. clearly not you as you can't even pick your name. ugly: the thing about torpor is that you lose the ability to hold stuff, some one should have mentioned that. a ghoul with a stick can take you out because you know... no hands. (0/10) railroaded!! i think most pokemon games have more options on story. (3/10) RPG? eh... again must be the torpor, such limited interactions with named NPCs, and lets not talk about the city and non-named NPCs. (2/10) character creation options? close to none (1/10). elder vampire without any mental powers to affect the enviornment and npc's in a non violent way!(2/10) conclusion: it is indeed a vampire game, please try again. if you are looking for engine, CP2077 came out a few years ago, maybe license that.

I only played the game since 1.52 patch, and loved every second of it. replaying with some mods now. this is probably how it was meant to be 2 years late and fully developed. wonderful story characters and immersion. if you are thinking about it... play it.
