The best TBRPG in story, character design, writing, volume, graphics and creative freedom for a long long time. There is nothing I can compare this massive piece of a game with in this genre.
First: Please solve the Vulkan VRAM error, as this issue will prevent gaining new players AND just hurts this fine gem it had become over the years! This game offers alot, and realy alot at this point. Huge universe to travel, survival, building, pirating, quests and story ... you name it you'll find it here. Unfortunately I had to get over the bumpy start of the Vulkan VRAM error that crashed the game when changing the resolution or Alt-Tabing. Got it solved by just switching to borderless in native UWQHD and since then no issues at all. The graphics, "animations", alien/flora/fauna design are not to my liking but dont hold me back from enjoying the freedom of space exploration and all the game elements/mechanics mentioned above are giving me. Strongly recommend to try this one out if this is your genre!
I was a hugh fan of the version around 2020 so many mods that worked and made the game a realy amazing RPG Sandbox game. But the devs decided to ruin the work of the modders AND therefore the experience of the gamer by constantly breaking the mods and not even thinking about adding and improving the base game with the mods alongside ... I ditched the game and thought WOW they finaly realsed it ... But NO - NOTHING CHANGED but the V before the version# ... Save your money or wait 2 month to see if modders that developed mods like: Grow up and Work, Diplomacy, Improved Garrison, KillBanditsRaiseRelations, TournamentsXP, PartyScreenEnhancments, DetailedCharacterCreation and many many more pick up this game again. If not, nail the coffin for this studio and never waste your valuable life time ever again even thinking about MB2
