for the cost of a hamburger it took me about 30 - 45 minutes before starting to lose interest. Considering this can happen with AAA titles, this is a good investment. There is no ''wow'' factor but there also isn't anything to dislike in the design and presentation of the product.
I usually have an attention span of 5-10 minutes, I get bored very fast. The pace of the game, the simple story, the progressive introduction of new mechanics in the game makes this one of the best platformers Ive played in recent history. Its not easy nor difficult you just have to think and coordinate. + Nice boss encounters + Nice soundtrack + Creative use of game mechanics + Cheap
I already purchased these from a different website unfortunately but this would be an instant buy. If you adjust the resolution you will see that the game has aged very well, the cartoonish graphics are still very nice to look at, the music is relaxing and the mix of deep gameplay and the cast of character that doesnt take itself seriously makes this a a perfect stress-free management game. I haven`t played the hardest difficulty but so from what I tried, don`t play this game for the management challenge, more for the fun of watching your community grow. Definite buy.
I have unfortunately not played the previous games in the serie but Quest for Glory 5 was a great game. I just hope they add the soundtrack because the silmarian nights track is great.
