I have to say I'm impressed. I loved this game 35 years ago and an injury had me laid up for a month or longer. so I decided to see if I could find Bards tale to pass the time. I used to play this on the com64, the original format in the 80's. The legacy version has me drafting maps and writing everything down, just like the original version. The remastered graphics are great. Gog.com is a site to cherish for saving these older games from exstinction. I'll also say I tried to cheap out with another site and play for free on an emulator, dos creater. It froze twice and I lost my progress. I truelly couldnt play until I found this site.
