Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

Annoying Pawns

One of my worst experiences is trying to progress thru the stories when the pawns act like the 3 stooges bouncing around over each other. VERY ANNOYING! They also randomly pick up stuff and trying to figure out where/who has what is trying and tiresome. The mage types also have the annoying habit of useing spells that totally obscure your vision in the middle of battles. Outside of those annoyances, the game is pretty good and has several stages in the story telling. Usually when you take out the main story's protaganist, the game is pretty much over, but with this game, that just the beginning of other story lines. (at least two more). That's rare in games, and very challenging.

Dragon Age™: Origins - Ultimate Edition

Loved Game years ago but now......!

In the past this game played great, but now, after the big battle and as soon as I get to the first village, the game starts to crash at least every 3-5 minutes. NOT PLAYABLE FOR ME. Don't know why, but I suspect it has to do with me using an AMD video card and the game favoring Nividia stuff. It always crashes at screen transitions, but also randomly while moving around.

The Technomancer

Technomancers is Challenging but fun!

I bought this game several years ago when it was around $5 and found it to be a gem of a game. The choices you make will effect the progress of the game. I used a game guide to figure out how the game should be played, i.e. what order the missions should be taken, and found this to be a very fun game. If you happen to do these in a different order, you WILL find the outcome unsatisfying. Maybe the "flaws" some are touting are do to the order the missions need to played out. This was one of the GEMS of games I found on GOG that will always leave me satisfied with the game play.

Space Rangers HD: A War Apart

Deleted CTRL-SHIFT codes

I've played and enjoyed this game for quite a few years. But lately, every so-called update has been deleting codes that helped me enjoy this game, MY way. They were CTRL-SHIFT codes that gave me a chance to play the way I wanted. NOW, after several updates, they're mostly gone and/or not working anymore and these changes were not documented in ANY way. Be careful about buying games that are being crapped out right under your noses. With "updates" that clearly don't do anything but remove functionality that you've already paid for !

Couldn't even start a new game !

I downloaded this a couple of weeks ago and when I ran it, all I got was a main menu with the New Game and continue greyed out and not accessible ! Too bad because it looked really good. I hope whatever caused this will be fixed but it is NOT recommended right now !!

GreedFall – Gold Edition

Good Game with Crappy maps !

It took me a long time to figure out how to get around in the game and find places, because the maps are non-existent and completely un-helpful until you've finally discovered several places. It gives you ZERO help in finding places it sends you to. Just explore until you finally discover where you're looking for! If not for the map issues this would be a pretty great game, the storyline is actually decent and enjoyable, just trying to make it thru from one place to another is very difficult early in the game. The ending is satisfying if you've made choices to make it that way. Just may take more than one run thru to figure out what the "better" choices are. But that is what makes it an interesting game, the puzzle of making choices to direct the game in the direction you'd like.

Just Old enough !

This game runs fairly well, but it is a very early version of this game and literally NO ONE has any kind to play through that can be used when you are stuck! Everything that is available is for later versions, or the on-line version and doesn't apply to this game. I'm stuck in the first city investigating the deaths, and I have NO idea what I should do next. This game is not very good at clues or aiming you in the appropriate directions to continue the plot. Sad because until this point, I was enjoying the game as it is.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

Getting thru the game, then, bugs!

I thought, for most of the game, it was pretty good. Then I get what I think is close to the end and it throws a bug I can't get past !!! The puzzle with the pipe rotations, etc. wasn't hard to solve, but the red mist path doesn't show up! I can't figure out why!! NONE of the walkthru's I checked mentioned this, so I have to think it must be some sort of bug! No matter what I do, the red mist path stays blank and never materializes! Pretty much kills the game at this point. Can't recommend this to anyone. Get close to the end and a bug locks you out of the ending. CRAPPY!!

Mad Max

Keyboard steering SUCKS !!!!

This game has a lot to like, but when it comes down to gameplay, forcing PC users to drive with a keyboard, just KILLS this games enjoyment! There are several missions in the main story that require you to win races to continue. THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH KEYBOARD STEERING !!!!! The game becomes unfinishable ! As long as the missions don't require winning a race, the game is a lot of fun, but there is no way to win a race with keyboard steering ! You end up under steering or over steering and loose control, the keyboard is NOT consistent with the skills for driving. IT REALLY sucks, because this game can be a lot of fun!

Rebel Galaxy Outlaw

Rebel Galaxy Outlaw

It is mostly a decent game, but one mission is fatally flawed in the main mission. You are supposed to be following this alien, but he's not anywhere in the area! When the game realizes you're not near this guy, the mission automatically fails. I never got passed this bug the last time I played it, and barely made it passed this point the first time I played to this point! The main mission is pretty flakey anyway, and completing it didn't leave me feeling like it was worth the gameplay at all ! VERY DISAPOINTING ! Play it for the side missions and the battles, the main mission is a joke.
